Professor Sithes cold glare lasted throughout the day. His hair black and greasy. The same old cold as ice look. These students he liked. They knew him. He was sitting patently for the swarm of students.

Dorcas was first there as she always tried to be in time. She was in her smart Gryffindor robes with a well knotted tie and she unslung her bag from her shoulder as she entered the classroom. She was used to the ice cold look by now but something did concern her.
She was a 6th year yet stuck in the OWL level course. She'd done her OWL the previous school year but if she couldn't move up to the NEWT class by the end of this year she'd have to drop the topic for her 7th year. NEWT's would be time consuming enough so she'd be cutting her subjects in that level accordingly to give herself a chance. That was a choice she'd have to make by the end of this term to plan ahead. A school year never really lasted that long when you thought about it.
"Hello Professor" she cheerfully replied as she breezed into the class. A more upmarket but still correctly coloured school skirt and house robe swished round her black tighted legs. Her pony tail swished along with her robes and she had on a little light makeup and lipgloss. Always wanting to look her best for her fiance as her engagement ring showed that state of affairs to the world.
Settling in a desk near the front she also slipped on her little round glasses and organised her desk. As she always did and looking ready to work.

[[Jammed your finger? Ouch.]]
Abel's first class since the incident. And it was Transfiguration, OWL level. Why did he have to be a fifth year? Quickly running his fingers through his hair, he shook his head and slid on his robes, grabbing his supplies before making the somewhat slow walk to the Transfiguration classroom.
The professor, looking... well, like he usually did, was already there. Abel barely even acknowledged him or the other student in class as he chose a spot in the middle row, two seats away from the aisle. It was always the same spot, every single class: middle row, two seats from the aisle.
His hair was still messy, but groomed. At least he was making an effort now. Under his robes were a white dress shirt, the type that would normally go under a house sweater, black slacks, and boots. That's right: boots. Just big enough that they would make a thudding sound when he walked, but not loud enough to completely disturb people in a quiet setting. The boots, while slightly formal-looking, still seemed a bit out of place with the rest of him, but he honestly didn't care. Clothes were clothes, and he liked those boots.
Not a word was spoken from the boy as he set up his things, leaving enough room for anyone else that wanted to sit nearby.

Morana made her way to her class, thinking heavily. She wasn't sure what to expect of the class now. It was a new professor. That and the fact she has gotten held back. She hadn't made it to the NEWT level. She just hoped that they'd be learning something beneficial.
And not something that would make her scoff and decide to be worthless. She wasn't up for any disappointment. She pushed open the doors, slipping through the door with effortless grace. She ave the professor a brief nod, finding a seat near the middle. She placed her books on her desk, waiting for the class to begin.

Professor Sithe stood and walked to the edge of the class. He knew that most of these students would be mad at him. The plan this year was to keep most 6th years in an OWL class. This way they could review that and get some NEWT practice. Luckily this meant harder work for the students. He just hoped they understood that they all were at NEWT level. He strolled along awaiting more students.

Wesley Craven walked into her tranfiguration classroom very quietly. She had her messenger bag on her left shoulder, her hair pulled back into a ponytail and a hat on her head. She silently took the hat off, and placed it in her bag as she moved to one of the desks where was unlike her to sit. Usually she was in the front, but today Wesley sat farther back unable to bring herself to the front feelingalone although she wasn't.
The summer wasn't the best for her though and she knew the year wasn't going to be any better than the summer. Wesley didn't want to talk about it though feeling she'd break if she did. She placed her bag under her desk against the leg of it after pulling a quil and a notebook out of it. Wesley stared down at the piece of paper that she had opened to but didn't write anything on it. This was going to be one of her harder classes since she was not good at it and was now in a harder class of it. She shook her head before Wesley organized her things neatly in her desk.

Aimee hurried to transfiguration, annoyed that she might be late for this class, not that she was looking forward to it exactly either, she fumed about being stuck in O.W.L class again, what was the point of taking those exams anyway? She really hoped this new professor was up to scratch. She sighed to herself, there was nothing she could do about it now anyway, might as well go along with it.
Aimee entered the classroom quietly, after taking one look at the professors face she quickly took her seat and gathered her books and quills together. He seemed furious and definitely not one to mess with, she sat up straight and breathed a sigh of relief, class had not even begun yet.

Sithe was always dark. The last three years he was here he was dark. Ever since Black came back to the school he was dark. Jemus urned to get out of this class. He wanted to be the Head of Slytherin and Potions Master. He wanted so much more than this. He rolled his eyes at the next pair into the room. Half ready to kick them out he strode inside. "Class has begun. Those of your classmates whom have choen to be late will be punished. Take that as a Warning."
He began his lecture. "For those of you who are new or who have not had me for some odd reason or another in the last two terms I am Jemus Sithe. I teach here and in fact went here as a boy. I sat in the seat Ms. Craven is sitting in. For the sixth years, relax. This is not a worrying matter. YOu were put in this class because there are no more NEWT classes for 6th years. You don't retake your OWLs you study for NEWTs and help the underclassmen with their OWLs. In this class you will learn only a few new spells.
Fifth years, you will learn a whole slew of spells. We will first recap the 'fors' spell family. You know, the ones like 'Avifors' 'Lapifors' and 'Draconofors'. Then we will study the physical spells. They are easy, just ask an upperclassmen if you need help. There are textbooks in the back for the 5th years. Go and read the first chapter. Then I want a one page essay on why OWLs are so improtant. ((Just look off of a site or something. Or tell me in your own words. Im grading on effort for this one.))
Good luck. Also sixth years. I want you to do some basic NEWT preperation. Review old spells such as the 'fors' ones. If anyone wants to help incoming 5th years or this young man here you can. Otherwise just get into a group and begin studying." Sithe smiled and sat down. He did't want to deal with anything today.

Only a few new spells; she'd have better luck hitting the library and practicing on her own at this rate. Still it was now clear what this year would hold for them. She had to hope next year would teach them what they really needed. Not that this made her feel any better since this class was reviewing things they'd done last year.
So supressing a sigh she opened her old notebook. One she'd kept since it was barely half filled up. She flicked the pages until she found what she was after.

Staring up at the professor, she couldn't work out quite what this whole new OWL and NEWT class system was about, sure it was helpful to have more preparation but couldn't the students just use study periods like they used to? The old system had worked quite well for previous students, why bother replacing it? She knew there had to more to it than what he was saying, but what could she about it?
Shaking of her moody thoughts she pulled open her text book and began reviewing some notes from last year. Might as well just get stuck into it, she thought miserably.

Wesley listened to Professor Sithe carefully. She wasn't sure she liked being pointed out as to where she was sitting. It wasn't like her to sit in the far back corner, but considering how much she didn't want to be in class or around people at the moment and how unsocial she was, it seemed like the best seat for her. Wesley sat there glancing around for a moment before opening her text book and her old notes from last year studying the spells. She had never been very good at transfirguration, passing with a good grade, but it wasn't one of her strong points. Wesley couldn't find herself able to concentrate as she looked over the words. Looking at the words, she shook her head slightly rereading the page again.

Alexis had slipped in right before the dreaded words 'Class has begun. Those of your classmates whom have choen to be late will be punished. Take that as a Warning' Taking a seat in the back of the room, Ali did as she was told. Pulling out her textbook and reading the required chapter. She'd had Sithe before, it was....refreshing...to know he still appeared to be mad at the world.
Pulling out parchment and a quill, Ali began to write her paper as she read it. It wouldn't take long, she'd read the chapter already the night before when she couldn't sleep.
