Good luck with that (Pro. Maxwell)
« Thread Started on Oct 26, 2009, 9:46pm »

Than looked down the empty dungeon hall. For all the students and teachers were at dinner. But Than liked the quiet stillness of the dripping of water. But something was missing. But what? Than questioned himself. And instantly the answer came to him. The crackle of fire what was missing. The painful screams where now just a distant memory in his mind.

Than turned down another corridor. Empty again. Yet it was deep in the dungeons as no one wished to enter this far. And there was a lonely painting hanging from afar. Sleeping so innocently. Yet the Innocent were always punishable. "Accio paint," Than whispered. And a few minutes later, a paint can flew into his hands. He lightly drew a cloth in the painting's mouth.

Than set the paint down. And he pulled out his dark wand. "Lumos," Than said. The light woke the painting. but because of the cloth that Than drew, the painting could not utter a sound. He moved the wand to his left hand. Meaning he would most likely do anymore spells as he was right handed. But he just wanted to see his face. Than lifted his right hand. In front of the painting. He leave only his pointer finger up.

He moves his finger right to the painting. And right between the eyes, he burns a hole. The painting's face lite with pain. He couldn't run anywhere. No neighboring pictures in which he to go. Than gripped the corner of the painting. "Cont with me," he said. "Five, four, three, two, one, burn." Than's hand lite with fire, starting the corner of the painting ablaze. He lets go, just to watch the painting burn.

Dinner had been extremely pleasent, especially seen as it was Sophia's first dinner here as a professor, and not a student. Even though it was going brilliantly, the food absolutely delicious as it had been years ago, Sophia felt the need to explore. A girl can't get enough of finding stuff, she always thought. Intelligence was highly useful, so exploring would surely help.

Obviously, she'd been here before. But changes had been made since then. The most curious of places was the dungeons. She wasn't sure why, but prfessor Maxwell felt the urge to go down there. Only as she did, horror struck her face.

Burning. She smelt urning. Running towards the smell, turning a corner, and noticing a lit wand, Sophia saw the painting alit. "Stop right there!" she ordered, struck with shock. "What on earth do you think you are doing?"

Raising her wand, she decided to put a stop to this. "Aqua Eructo!" Water sped out from the tip of her wand to the painting, and as it worked itself she noticed the large cloth over the victoms mouth.

"What have you been doing?!" she ordered sharply. "Reparo!" she muttered, fixing the paintings frame.

Than was enjoying the fire when a teacher came to interrupt his fun. she told him to stop and asked what he was doing. The answer simple. "I am burning a painting. What else does it look like?" Than smirked. She then put out his fire."Now, why did you go and do that?" he asked in a whiny voice. "You know it is harder to start on fire when it's wet." Than gave her a frown. Just part of the mental games he likes to play. She again asked what he was doing and repaired the painting. But this time he did not answer. He then again lite his hand in fire and placed it on the painting. But this time he could hear the screams. Of course this was pay back for what the painting had said to the professor. It had said thank you for saving him for the terrible boy. And Than was not terrible, he was a demon. And dare the picture call him a half breed in his presence, what else for he to do?

Sophia felt her face getting more and more red by the second. "Stop that!" she ordered, pointing her wand at him. "Expelliarmus!"
Again, it was time to put out the fire. "Aguamenti!" More water flew out of her wand, and she found it really quite frustrating how he was doing this. Yeah, how was he doing this? Clearly he was a... demon or something. At least, Sophia hadn't heard of a spell that could produce fire from your own hands.

"Now then," she sighed, turning to the boy. "How long is this going to last? Because trust me, detentions are not nice with me."

Than laughed when she did expelliarmus. She should have known that wouldn't work. After all he was a fire demon, he didn't need a wand to make fire. And again she put out the fire. He flashed a fake frown at her. And asked him how long he wanted to keep this up. Than tilted his head up, in a way in which it make him look as though he was thinking. "How many more times do you want to put out my fires?" Than wanted to dare her to touch him, but he knew he should say that to a teacher. Most of his classmates would have said, got to catch me first, and then they run. Like Than thought, the innocent are never innocent.

Oh, so he wanted to be cheeky eh? Well, one thing was for sure. Sophia could not risk the painting being damaged further, so she pointed her wand directly at it. "Accio painting!" the painting was sent flying into her arms instantly. "Right, I am going to contact the headmistress about this and she will not be happy! Detention, tomorrow, got it?"

Than smiled. She magically took the painting. Than knew she was trying to take it from him. No one ever takes something Than wants. And if he can't have it then no one will. He made a little fire ball in his hand and threw it at the picture. Than let the little flame start as he directed the teacher's attention elsewhere. "The Headmistress. Oh i know her, she has already seen me, after all, Professor Sithe sent me there after the first lesson. And as for detention, i don't think so. I have people to see and things to burn." Than was on edge. He slowly started toward the professor. He was right in front of her when he said, "Your on fire, you know that? Just there." He pointed to the ground in which her cloak was laying. A spark flicked off his hand and lite the cloak. Than backed away and started to go around her.

Once again, this boy was being a total brat. Surely Sophia wasn't this bad in her first year, right? She sure hoped not. "Look, I don't care if you have a million and one people to see, you will be coming to detention tomorrow and that is that. Now then, I shall take this battered painting to the headmistress and-" as Than pointed to her cloak, she hopped up a little and directed her wand downwards, using the same incantation again before stamping on it to get away the wet. "Now, what was I saying? Ah yes, I'm taking this to the headmistress right now!"

With that, the professor twirled around and strolled down the corridor. Hopefully she would be quick enough for him to not shout anything back.

Than laughed right in the professor's face. "Oh we'll see. And you might want to put out the fire on the painting before you go see her. You wouldn't want to burn yourself," Than said. The fire rose up the painting. It was getting quiet close to her hand. Than smiled. She maybe walking away but that didn't stop him. His voice was to echo in the corridors. Than waited to see what the professor did.
