Dane looked up as another boy came into the cabin. Shrugging, he replied, "Sure." The boy looked familiar, he had probably seen him in some classes before. He tilted his head and bit his lip, thinking hard. Would life at Hogwarts be so difficult as he expected? He had friends here who could help him. Thank God I decided to come, he thought to himself with a relaxed smile on his face.

"ah okay cool". He listened well to what he had to say, for he was a newcomer, and any well given advice he would happily welcome.
"you look after your sis? must be hard going... she coming to hogwarts too?" he asked. He wondered how old his sister was, and yet again was reminded about his parents... and started to think what it might of been like if he had of had a sister... or maybe even a brother. How things were though, it would of probably been more chaotic...
Nathan was then slightly startled by a boy walking into the cabine. He had asked if anyone was sitting here, and not sure who he said it to Nathan instintively replied: "Nah, you can sit wherever you want, ill budge up if you want". Nathan hoped that he wouldnt choose to sit next to him... he wasnt sure why but it was probably because he was fairly shy at times, and also felt uncomfortable with strangers... especially when he was expected to trust them.

Nathan also then thought that maybe this could be a good chance to gain a few acomplices within the school, maybe they would turn out to be three pupils that hung out often... He didnt really care for the idea, but it had crossed his mind...
He was about to ask Dane about home life and other things, but thought it was best not to as someone new had entered the cabin and may not feel comfortable talking about it infront of someone else... or maybe Dane would not want to talk about home with Nathan, they had after all, only just met.
Nathan didnt expect any answers from him, as he would probably never give him many either.... nothing too personal anyway.

"Thanks." Eragon said, managing to say this clearly. "I'm Eragon by the way." he said, slouching down into his seat. He normally sat up straight, he had been taught that way, his mother hated slouching. But he was feeling rather defeated. His ex-girlfriend was now dating his best friend. Awkward. He mentally shook himself, and straightened up, fixing his posture.

"No problem" Nathan replied, "I'm Nathan". He looked at the boy, and felt that he wasn't the kind he'd make a friend of, but there was no harm in trying. So try he would. "This your first year or you been here before"?
Nathan looked over at Dane as though to say: do you know this guy? but Nathan doubted he knew him from instict and felt that Dane wouldnt have a clue as to why he looked at him. He felt stupid once again, but deicded not to let it bother him, if they thought he was stupid, so what, let em think what they want.
So far the day was looking good, n he had a good feeling about the rest of it, he just couldnt wait to get of the damned train ride and into his room.
He then turned to Dane again after looking out the window: "By the way Dane, whats the rooms like and stuff up there"? He asked.

Wesley leaned her head against the window in one of the other cabins. She was stuck with a bunch of girls talking about their summer and how they spent it with their boyfriends and had a great time. She had been the first in this cabin and hoped it would stay empty, but no she had to get stuck with girls that were completely unlike her. It didn't help when they completely ignored her and hadn't even asked if they could sit with her either. At first she hadn't really cared, but now Wesley minded and wanted tell them to go away.
Wesley let out a soft sigh, finally standing up. They looked at her as she moved out of the cabin in search of another place to sit. She would have to go back for her luggage later, but for now she just left it in there. Wesley moved through the train seeing almost all of the cabins filled. She sighed slightly annoyed before coming to the last one on this part of the train. Wesley peered inside finding two boys she didn't know and her brother, Dane.
At first, Wesley was little hesitant to go in. She had never really hung out with Dane and his friends. She had never wanted to feel like the annoying sister just tagging along. But as Wesley thought about it, she really didn't want to go back to the last place she had been and sit with the girls again. And with that, Wesley opened the door to the cabin. She glanced around feelign a little uncomfortable, but more at ease with Dane there. She silently moved in to sit next to Dane, not saying a word. She didn't want to interrupt, but felt it was okay to sit with them.

"Thanks. I'm Eragon by the way," the boy, Eragon said. Dane nodded, introducing himself. "Dane Craven." He saw the look Nathan gave him and shrugged. Partially. It was difficult not to know each other around here, especially when you were in the same year. You took classes together.
"Oh...there are four common rooms, like the four houses... Do you know which one you'll be in yet? I'm from Gryffindor, by the way. The dorms are...well, just normal dorms. Enough, but not exactly luxurious," he replied.
Wesley came in and sat beside him. "Hey Wes," he said to her. He could feel that she was uncomfortable around his friends, or at least his peers. "Where's your luggage?" he asked. He knew she hadn't gotten over their family member's death. He didn't expect her to, even he himself hadn't.

Nathan then looked at the girl who had just sat down next to Dane without saying a word. She seemed as though she felt extremely uneasy and worried about something. "This a friend of yours Dane"?

Wesley glanced around the cabin before back at Dane. She gave a weak smile towards him. "Hi," she quietly said back. Wesley looked at Nathan as he asked Dane a question, but didn't say anything. Instead she answered Dane's question. "It's in on of the other compartments. I had sat somewhere else that was empty but a whole bunch of girls came in so I left," Wesley replied. She let her eyes linger around in search of a book or something to read.

Dane smiled. "No...my sister, actually," he replied to the question Nathan asked. Dane was proud of his sister, something he had realized only after Lucas and his parents died. He learnt to treasure her more. Remembering how jealous he used to be of her, he smiled and put his arm around her shoulder.
"We'll go get it later," he said, promising that they would go together in case the girls were still there. He knew Wes could protect herself, but he was afraid something would happen to her. He tended to be a tad overprotective these days.

Nathan started to stare out of the cabin window yet again, glancing at the landscape and sky... consequently thinking too much, about all the wrong things. He felt slightly uneasy and tried to shake the feeling off but it still lingered in his head, he felt like doing something to take his mind of the usual crap and thought grabbing wesleys bag would do the trick...
Nathan turned to Dane and Wesley: "want me to go get your bag? i really wouldnt mind, honestly" he asked nervously... He thought he sounded stupid offering to grab something to a stranger, but the thoughts kept on lingering and wouldnt stop... It was something to do.

Wesley smiled a little as Dane put his arm around her shoulders. She looked at Nathan for a mometn before nodding towards Dane when he said they would get her bags later. "Do you have a book on you?" Wesley asked him quietly as she looked at Dane. A book usually helped her when she needed comfort. She loved Dane with all her heart and she knew he was hurting also. She was glad that he was with her and that she had somebody to lean on when need be.
Wesley's attention turned to Nathan when he asked if she would like him to get her bag. She wasn't entirely sure, so she looked up at Dane. He could answer for her at the moment. Wesley didn't know this kid, and hadn't talked to him, but if Dane trusted him, Wesley did also.

"I've been here before. This is my seventh year." he said, glad to have something to talk about. Something normal. He watched at a girl walked in and sat next to Dane. He listened to the conversation that followed. Wesley. Dane's sister. Got it.

Dane passed Wesley the book he had been holding earlier. He might hate studying, but he loved reading. He knew Wes loved reading too.
He shook his head. "It's all right, I can go get it later," he said. It was not that he didn't trust Nathan, he did, Nathan seemed like a nice boy, but he wanted to help Wesley. If he couldn't help her in anything else, let him do this small task.

Dane answered Nathan and in his reply Nathan felt a bit uncomfortable as though he had maybe bothered them by asking... it sounded stupid, but it was just how he felt at times... "Oh okay" he replied.
He then turned to Eragon: "Oh cool, how do you find the school"? he asked.
"Oh by the way, Dane, do you know how long it takes to get to hogwarts on this train"?
