Hogwarts Realm
All was well. Not a peep was to be heard from the magical world, their lives once again calm and peaceful. The only thing to worry about at Hogwarts was avoiding detention, and to also try not to singe your eyebrows off in class. The rest of The Wizarding World is a jolly affluent place where business is thriving and once again people can roam around the streets freely, or perhaps, too freely, as some may have noticed...
Welcome to Hogwarts Realm, we've been around for almost seven years! We're a very friendly roleplay community trying to keep the magic of Hogwarts and also introduce a little bit of our own magic!
Currently, we are without a plot, but its coming very soon, the intro in the top box is a little teaser to keep you guessing! School terms last two-three months and you will always be moved up to the next year as long as you have posted within the last two weeks!

Kitchens Fancy some food after dining hours? The Kitchen always has a great supply of food, make something yourself, but watch out- the house elves might end up doing it all for you.
The Chamber Of Secrets Deep below the castle, deep below the lake, and deep below the ministry, there is The Chamber of Secrets. Inside dwells the bones of the Basilisk slayed by Harry Potter. Its now quite a cool hangout for the more adventurous students, that is if you can get out of course.. and if you don't get caught in the process.
Underground Boat Dock This is where they keep the tiny boats for the first years trip across the lake at the start of each year. Its quite a dreary dark place and technically students aren't allowed down here, but if you're sneaky, you could always go for a midnight sail around the lake.
Entrance Hall (2 sub-boards) Just got in from a rainy day outside? Or maybe its lovely and sunny and you waiting for a friend to join you so you can go out into the summers sun. Either way, the Entrance Hall is a pretty busy place.
Great Hall The wonderful tables of the Great Hall are there for your enjoyment, its a great place to socialize with people in your house while eating your way through all the Hogwarts luxury food made in the kitchens.
Astronomy Tower This is the perfect place for you to go at night, and if your caught you may even stand a chance of being let off for the astronomy tower is so amazing with its view of the many stars and planets above.
Moaning Myrtles Bathroom Anyone who enters this bathroom with the need to pee will find out that its not really suitable for such a thing.. This particular girls bathroom is haunted by a ghost who is commonly known as Moaning Myrtle, shes quite annoying and a bit of a drama queen, so have fun.
The Record Room (15 sub-boards) This is where all the old threads will be, they are sorted into the term from which they are from so you can sort through them more easily.

North Tower (1 sub-board) The North Tower is the second highest tower at Hogwarts, from here you can see all around the grounds and also into the courtyard at the center of the school. Its a beautiful place to be.
Forbidden Corridor The Forbidden Corridor is well.. Forbidden, if you are found in here by a teacher or prefect you will be in lots and lots of trouble.. However if you do manage to take a peek at this magnificent corridor make sure to check out the fluffy three headed dog in the room at the end. He is there purely because once Hagrid had put it in there many years ago, no one could get it out again.

Courtyard The courtyard is where most students go at break times between classes, a lot of the drama goes on here as its a very sociable place.
Beltane Tower Another one of Hogwarts Realm's beautiful towers, and not just any tower, this one has no stairs. Instead it has a floating platform that you have to stand on to get to the top, or if you're feeling adventurous, you could always leap through some of the tapestry hanging on the wall where you may or may not find a secret passage way..
The Inside Forest This is Firenze's old Divination room, its still around as it has the resemblance of the forest but with no threats such as werewolves, so its safe for all students, you could get lost in this endless classroom of trees and wild plants.

The Clock Tower and Balcony This beautiful clock tower overlooks the Courtyard which is usually filled with students when they aren't in lessons. Watch out for the booming sound of the clock every hour though, it could leave you temporarily deaf.
Hogwarts Cliffs The cliffs surrounding Hogwarts Realm are very dangerous, and you ought not be there! Of course as always there's an element of excitement that will enviably draw you in, lets just hope that, that excitement doesn't draw you from the cliffs into the lake too.

The Lake (4 sub-boards) The edges of the Lake are very safe to swim and paddle in, but go in too far and you may sink into the depths and never come back, but if you don't fancy a swim the surroundings are just as wonderful and its a beautiful place when the sun is setting
